The Affair

Chapter 21 The Affair:
I arrived at the police station and I met up with Bradford and gave him a hug. “Hey.” “Hey, you ready to do this?” “Yea.” I nodded, we went inside the building and we walked up to the desk. “Good Afternoon.” The secretary smiled. “Hello, my name is Terrance Robinson and this is Bradford Brown. We were requested to come see the sheriff to discuss the new information of the whereabouts of my daughter.” “Oh, right this way Ms. Robinson, Mr. Brown.” We followed her down the hallway to the Sheriff’s office and then she knocked on the door. “Sheriff Lawson? Sheriff Lawson.” “Yes.” He responded. “There’s a Ms. Robinson and a Mr. Brown here wanting to talk about the new details in the babynapping case.” “Bring them in.” We entered the room and he stood us and addressed us. “Terrance Robinson I believe?” “Yes sir.” I shook his hand. “Ah, I never forget a face. And what is your name sir?” “Bradford, Bradford Brown. I believe we talked on the phone.” They shook hands. “Yes, we did so please both of you sit down so we can talk.” We sat down in the wood and cushion designed seats, I only wanted to know if they’ve truly found my baby girl and how we can get her back alive. “Well we have received a tip that your daughter has been seen in the Virginia Beach area with Jaslene, She was seen at a reststop just north of there.” “So what are you prepared to do officer?” “We’ll scan the area within a 100 mile radius; they can’t be far if this was reported last night.” Bradford sat up. “Well do you know who made the call?” “It was anonymous; we don’t have much info on who called. The conversation was too short for us to trace it, I’m sorry.” Brad rubbed my back. “We’ll find her Ter, don’t worry.” All three of us got up from our seats and headed towards the door. “I’ve already talked to two officers in the area and they are rounding up more officers to scan the area, we’ll call you two if anything more develops. I hope you don’t mind me by asking, but how is Chris’ condition?” “He’s Okay, but he hasn’t woken up yet.” I responded. “I’m sorry to hear that.” The sheriff grabbed my hand before we left. “He’s a really good young man; don’t ever give up on him, okay?” I nodded and we continued out the office. We waved goodbye to the secretary and headed back home. As we approached the house, we saw Chris’ sister Lindsey outside crying. When we got out the car, I approached her and had my hand on her shoulder. “Lindsey, what’s wrong?”

“Terrance, they won’t let me see Chris at the hospital.” “What!? Why won’t they let you see him?” “They said some shit about that he has a limit of how many visitors he can have.” “That’s ridiculous, why would they do that?” Brad asked. “I don’t know.” Lindsey wiped her tears. “Well we’re going over there and I’m gonna have a talk with them, c’mon Terrance.” Brad grabbed my hand and he, Lindsey and I drove over to the hospital. We walked through the doors and Brad stepped up to the front desk. “Excuse me; I believe someone here has made a mistake here. My sister Lindsey Brown came to see my brother Chris Brown and someone have told her that she couldn’t see him today, I want to know why that is?” The middle-aged woman fixed her glasses and looked up his file. “Well sir, we were told to limit Mr. Brown’s visitors to two people per day.” “W-Well who would order such a thing?” The nurse checked into his file again. “This was authorized by… Chris Brown’s girlfriend.” A confused look came upon my face as Bradford and Lindsey both looked at me with the same expression. “You authorized this?” Lindsey asked upset. “No, I haven’t. After Brad called me during my visit I left, I didn’t stop for anything-” A thought came into my mind right there, I speedwalked to the desk. “Who signed for that to come into effect?” I already know who did it; I just wanted Lindsey and Brad to know what’s up. “A miss… Robyn Finley.” Lindsey’s eyes widened. “You mean that bitch told you to limit his amount of visitors? Who the hell allowed her in here in the first place?” Brad turned to Lindsey. “Lindsey calm down, please continue ma’am.” “Well, she told me she was Chris Brown’s girlfriend and that is what she requested. “You didn’t check Chris’ file before you did all of that? Only me and Terrance, Chris’ only girlfriend filled out his primary paperwork. How could you let this happen?” She huffed. “No need to get persnickety with me sir, I’ll get right on it.” “So can I see him?” Lindsey calmed down. “Sure, just sign in the visitor’s log and you can go in. But only you and one other person because we can’t allow no more than two people at a time.” She nodded. “Terrance, are you gonna join me?” I shook my head. “No, I already saw him earlier today. You and Brad go ahead, I’ll wait here.” “Ok we won’t be long, come on Brad let’s go.” Lindsey and Brad went into Chris’ room and I sat down in the waiting room and I was going to tell them that Chris lightly clenched my hand.

I nearly cried when he did it, it was like we connected with each other. But there goes Robyn’s ass ruined the moment we had; I feel that she’s going to compromise Chris’ recovery. I should have never left her alone with him, she’s dangerous and I don’t want Chris to wake up looking into her face. So I got up and went to the front desk again. “Excuse me?” “Yes ma’am?” The young nurse spoke “Um, I’m Terrance Robinson and I would like to request a blacklist addition to my boyfriend’s visitor list.” “Like as into keeping someone from seeing him?” “Yes, I want Robyn Finley on the blacklist. It’s for his safety; I believe she’s a hazard to his progress here.” “Ok, I’ll get on it right away miss Robinson.” “Thank You.” I smiled and went back to the waiting room, a few minutes later I saw Lindsey and Bradford coming out of Chris’ room. Lindsey looked upset coming back with Brad. “Everything will be alright Lin.” I heard Brad say from a distance. I got from my seat and approached them. “So what happened?” I asked. Lindsey left Brad and went outside before he answered. “Chris’ condition hasn’t improved since what happened. The doctor believes that Chris will never wake up from his coma.” Tears instantly fell from my eyes. “No, I don’t believe that.” Brad tried to step towards me and I backed up. “Why would you believe such bullshit?” I questioned. “Terrance, we have to realize that it’s possible that Chr-” “NO!” I protested. “You listen to me Bradford Brown, Your brother will make it out from his coma and he will be able to fully function and live his life.” I said with my voice shaking. “I’m not losing him or my daughter; I will grow old and die being with him and raising our daughter into a lovely and respectable woman.” Brad became speechless. “You will be a great uncle and Lindsey will be a great aunt, nothing is gonna keep that from being a reality.” I walked out the hospital and met up with Lindsey. “Everything will be alright, he will pull through and Robyn will never see him again.” “What do you mean?” Lindsey asked. “I blacklisted her; she can’t see Chris as long as he’s here.” “Good, cause I can’t stand her.” “Lindsey-” Brad interjected. “No, that bitch doesn’t deserve to see Chris. She’s probably the reason why his recovery is slowing; if I see her ass walking down the street I swear I’ll kick her ass!” “Lindsey! You shouldn’t be talking like that. She has a right to visit Chris like everyone of his friends.” “Friends!? Her ass never cared about Chris or called him once and now she sees him? Sorry Brad, but I call bullshit!” “You never know, she could’ve had a change of heart Lin.”

“More like a change of plans, I can’t believe you’re this naïve Bradford. She almost ruined Chris’ life, she’s knew what Chris was going through and she used it against him. He had to suffer alone, her guilt wasn’t enough to even say sorry to him. She can rot in hell, she doesn’t deserve him in her life and you know it.” Lindsey walked off towards the car then me and Brad walked to the car and got in. The whole trip back to the house was eerily quiet, with Lindsey sulking. When we got to the house we got out of the car and I sat on the living room couch then Lindsey tapped me on the shoulder and I turned around. “Meet me outside in five minutes, we gotta talk.” I nodded then I turned off the T.V. then headed outside with my sweater on. “Hey Lindsey, what’s up?” “I think Brad likes you.” She abruptly spoke. “What?” “I think my brother Brad likes you; I mean he really likes you.” “Do you really think so?” “Yes, Yes I do. You remind him of his last girlfriend.” “How was she?” “She was smart, pretty, loved the family, loved Brad to death and he loved her too.” “So what happened?” “She died in a car accident, the night he was going to purpose to her two years ago.” “Oh my gosh.” Lindsey turned around to face me. “Don’t lead Brad or Chris on please, I love my brothers and I’ll protect them no matter what. I like you, but I love my family.” “I understand and I would never lead Brad nor Chris onto anything, I love Chris and I want to spend to rest of my life with him. Brad has been a real help to me and he’s been real supportive of helping me find my daughter I have no real feelings for him.” “Thank you and Terrance?” I turned around to respond. “Yea?” “Chris is lucky to have you in his life and I mean that.” I smiled. “Thank you Lindsey.” I hugged her then we both went back inside cause it felt like it was going to rain. I was inside Chris’ room sitting on his bed going through old photo albums, when Lindsey and Jocelyn knocked on the door. “Terrance, Lindsey, Charlene and I are gonna go out and visit Chris in the hospital then we’re going to go grocery shopping afterwards, we’ll be back soon.” I nodded. “Ok, be safe guys.” “Ok, you too.” Lindsey nodded back. They left and I was still going through old pics of Chris’ big head and his cute, but goofy smile. It made me realize how much I miss him and how much I love him; I just want him and our daughter to be here with me so we could be a family like we should have.

It hurt me so much I started crying aloud till Brad came into the room. “Terrance, what’s wrong?” he spoke with concern. “I feel so empty right now Brad. The man I love is in the hospital, my daughter is still missing and I don’t know who to trust anymore. My life is so fucked up Brad; I don’t even know what to do.” “You need to stay strong Ter, I know it hasn’t been easy on you.  It hasn’t been easier on any of us; you need to keep reminding yourself and us why we shouldn’t give up.” He sat next to me as he continued. “You are too kind, intelligent and beautiful to be stressing this hard. I wish I could help you, I just want you to take your mind off of the drama.” Brad stroked my hair slowly then we kissed, I wanted to stop but for some reason my body wouldn’t let me. He pressed up against my body and we fell back onto the bed and we continued to kiss each other, then he slid his hand into my pants and unbuttoned them. I started to take off his shirt and then he removed mine and dropped them on the floor. Why couldn’t I stop? Was is it my sexual depravity or was I really starting to have feelings for Brad? He slowly took off his pants and kissed me passionately on my neck, my back arched in pleasure. He ripped open the condom he took out before his pants dropped and put it on. “Are you sure you want to do this?” He breathed on my face, I nodded and we continued kissing. He started fingering me and I softly moaned and I gasped for air. He continued kissing on my neck which added the euphoria to my body. He stopped then started kissing down my body and lick my breasts, his tongue against my sensitive flesh made me wetter and I couldn’t stop enjoying it. He was rubbing my clit while licking my breasts; it felt so good that I completely lost control of my body. When both of my nipples were erect he continued down my navel then he started licking my moist lips and I cried out in pleasure. My sensitive nub was becoming numb from him pleasuring me, I was gasping for air hard. He continued to lick me and I was still moaning loudly, he sucked on my clit and I was still getting wet each second. My legs ended up on his shoulders as he continued eating me out, he lifted his head up and I gently pushed his head back in between my legs. I was gabbing onto the pillow wishing he wouldn’t stop eating me and then he shook his head rapidly from side to side. “AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!” I screamed out. “OH MY GOD!” I kept screaming out. He lifted his head back up then he got up & lifted my legs in the air and put his well-endowed dick into me. “OOOOOOOOOOOH!” I clenched the sheets hard.

He pushed inside of me steady but rapidly, he caught his rhythm faster than Chris ever did. He sped up even more and he held onto the back of my head, he looked me in my eyes and I looked into his. He bit his lip and kept going, I felt an orgasm coming on and then he turned me around and he was fucking me from the back. “Brad, slow it down.” I breathed out. He nodded then he slowed his pace entering me. He pulled my hair and whispered in my ear. “Is it good to your baby?” I nodded and looked back him fucking me. “Harder… Harder dammit, I wanna cum.” He fucked me harder and I continued moaning, I don’t know what’s wrong with me. I shouldn’t be sleeping with Brad, it was wrong and I knew I would feel guilty afterwards but my feelings as of now are to escape my reality. He smacked my ass and I looked back at him and bit my lips. “Mmm, you feel real good baby girl.” He grunted. I was cuming and he knew it by how I was reacting, he slowed it down to let me cum and I came while he was inside. “Wow, I didn’t know you’d cum like that.” He rubbed my back. I smirked and I looked back at him again. “Let me ride you.” He slid out we were on our knees kissing each other then he his hand back into my folds and rubbed my clit then sucked the juices off his fingers then laid on his back. I got on top of him and he entered into me slow, he held onto my back and I was riding him slow with my hands on his shoulders. “Work your back and hips baby, move it around slowly.” He whispered in my ear. I licked my lips and started moving my hips around slowly and his head went back. “Yea that’s it sweetie.” He moaned. I moved up and down on him and he held onto my hips. I was riding him better than Chris, I couldn’t control myself with Brad and I threw my back out with me climaxing. I huffed onto his shoulder as he came with me; he stroked my hair from my back and kissed me on my forehead then I raised my chin from his shoulder. “Brad.” He looked into my eyes. “This can’t go any further than today.” He looked down. “I know, I was wrong for taking advantage of you.” I started to cry. “We were both wrong, I feel horrible for this.” I got up from Bradford’s lap and sat up on the opposite side of the bed with my knees to my chest. Brad tried to rub my back , but I twitched my back to shake him off subconsciously. “Brad, we need to keep this between us. Neither Chris nor anyone else needs to know what went on in here.” “Ok, but you should know that we won’t be able to keep this up for long after Chris comes out of his coma.” I rubbed my arms.

“Well I’m going to try, the last thing he needs is more disappointment.” “Well lying to him isn’t gonna make everything better, I think we sh-” I got up from the bed. “We don’t need him to focus on  what was no more than one moment of desperation; I have a child to find and a boyfriend to save. I don’t need things to become more convoluted then they already are, I’m going to take a shower and that’s the end of it.” I walked to the bathroom and got in the shower then I hear Brad entering the bathroom. “So that’s it?” he asked me outside the curtain. “What’s it?” I responded. “We’re gonna act like we didn’t just fuck in my brother’s room ten minutes ago?” “That’s the plan.” I responded. “C’mon Terrance, It’s not like he cheated on you.” I paused for a few moments then I continued bathing. “Wait, Chris cheated on you? When? With Who?” I pulled back the shower curtain to show my face. “It was with Catalina and god knows how many others.” I closed the shower certain. “You think there are others?” “Maybe, but I know he cheated on Catalina with me then me with Catalina. How else would that worthless whore get pregnant by him?” “Terry, he may not of slept with her. Maybe she wanted to pin her child on him to upset you.” I pulled the certain back again. “If he was capable of cheating on her with me, what’s to say he wouldn’t mess around with other females? He didn’t even say anything about him and Jaslene’s ‘relationship’ until after my daughter was kidnapped.” I sighed as I continued. “I don’t even have a name for her.” My voice was breaking. “If they find her dead she won’t have anything on her tombstone and that’s if they even find her body.” “Don’t say that Terrance, we’ll find her alive and Chris will fully recover.” “Chris? I secretly despise Chris for putting me through all of this!” “You don’t mean that Teran-” “Like hell, I had to deal with the crazy groupies, the spiteful ex-girlfriend and a revenge riddled bitch who steals children!” “Me having sex with Chris was a mistake, having and staying in this relationship was a mistake, having that baby was a mistake.” I turned off the water and dried myself with the towel. “Was having sex with me a mistake?” he asked. “Yes.” I walked out the room and he followed. “Are you going to leave him?” He inquired; I didn’t answer. “Are you going to leave him?” He repeated in a higher tone. “What do you want me to say Brad? That everything is square now, so I can be with Chris and live happily ever after? Well that’s not gonna happen, not by a longshot.”

“I may not know much of anything, but I know that Chris really does love you. I know he does dumb shit and doesn’t think before he acts, but you were a bright light in his life. He never regretted being with you.” I stopped moving as he continued. “The reason why he went out there was to save his daughter so you could be happy, even after I told his hardheaded ass to let the police handle it. He wanted to be your hero and bring your daughter, my niece home so he could be a family with you. I’m just as guilty as you for what went on in here, but I expected better from the ‘best thing’ that ever happened to my brother’s life.” Brad walked out the room. I sat alone in the room and I felt a tear roll down my eye, I was so stupid to look at this selfishly. Chris almost died trying to please me and I basically fucked him over, I cried into the pillow till it was saturated in my tears. I didn’t realize how much of a bitch I was until I heard Brad’s words, most of the men in my life left me after they got what they wanted and here I was discrediting the one that stayed. He may have holes in his past, but he understood me and I lost the reason why I loved him. No matter what happened he would always try to make it better for us. I got up and walked over to the kitchen and tried to get something to eat then the phone rang. I walked over to the phone and picked it up “Hello?” “Is this Terrance Robinson?” “Yes, who’s asking please?” “This is officer DaSilva I work for the Virginia Beach Police office. Are you available at this moment?”  “Yes I am.” “We need you to come down to the police station over here, we need to discuss some things that I can’t say over the phone, it’s about the location of your daughter.”  “O-Okay, I’ll be there.” “See you soon.”  “Alright, goodbye.” I hung up the phone. “Brad?” I called out for him around the house. “Brad? Brad where are you?” I looked out the window and saw him outside. I put on my jacket and went outside where he was. “Someone just called me.” “Who?” “An officer DaSilva called me and requested me to meet him in the Virginia Beach police station.” Brad walked off. “Are you coming with me or do I have to steal your car keys?” He turned around. “You said you had to go over there right?” I nodded. “Ok then bring ya ass, it’s about an hour drive so we better get moving. I know Gui he’s good people, my cousin Aaron is his partner over there.” I paused I gave Brad a puzzled looked. “Partners?” “Terrance don’t be dumb, they’re police partners.” “Oh.” I continued walking with Brad to the car.

As we walked towards the driveway we saw Lindsey’s car pull up in front of the house, when all three women hopped out of the car they approached Brad and I. “Hey guys, where are y’all going?” Lindsey asked. I was about to say something but Brad spoke ahead of me. “We’re heading to Virginia Beach.” “Virginia Beach?” Charlene interjected. “Yea, we got a call from Gui telling us to come over there.” “He said he knew where the baby was.” I added. “Ok, then we’re going with you.” Charlene spoke with her arms crossed. “Yes, we’ll go.” Jocelyn added. “Besides, you haven’t seen your son for a few months anyways. Haven’t you Charlene?” Jocelyn faced Charlene. “No I haven’t.” She answered. “So what are we waiting for? Let’s go.” Jocelyn, Lindsey and Charlene headed to Chris’ Range Rover and hopped in. “I’m driving.” Brad shouted out. “Sit up front Miss Jocelyn.” I helped her in the passenger seat. “Thank you sweetheart.” She smiled. Then I went to the backseat and sat next to Lindsey, I was checking my phone for the time. It was around five pm and It was probably night fall by the time we would get back, I texted Julissa to meet me in Virginia Beach. She didn’t text me back, but I thought nothing of it. We arrived over there quicker than I thought, we all got out of the car then I saw Brad take out his phone to call Gui. “Hey man, we’re out here come meet us outside.” He nodded then hung up the phone. Walking out of the police station a few minutes later was a medium-toned man with black curly hair, he wasn’t significantly taller than me but he was very built almost to a bodybuilder’s expectations. He approached Brad and hugged him. “Hey man wassup with you?” he spoke in a soft, but firm voice. “I’m good, just hanging in there for my brother and the family.” “Yea, I heard about Chris. Y’know he was like family to me, I’m here for y’all always.” “Of course man, thank you. Aw man, where’s my manners?” He hugged and kissed Jocelyn the cheek. “How are you holding up Miss Jocelyn?” “I’m doing ok, I’m sure Chris will wake up soon.” “That’s good, Hey Lindsey girl wassup?” He hugged Lindsey “Nothing much, are you keeping my little cousin from getting shot?” He chuckled. “Of course, don’t I always?” “You better be taking care of my baby or imma hurt you boy.” He smiled. “Nice to see you too Miss Charlene.” He walked over to hug her. “Nice to see you too baby.” She smiled. “Hey Brad, is this her?” He looked at me with welcoming eyes, Brad Nodded. I reached out my hand to shake his. “Hi my name is Terrance, I believe we spoke on the phone.” “Yes we did.” He shook my hand, then ambushed me into a hug. “We’re family, no need to be all formal.” I lightly chuckled.

“Chris told me about you before he went into his coma, he told me to do that when I meet you.” He laughed. “Come on guys, Aaron’s inside.” We all walked across the street and into the police station. The office was ominously more advanced and busy than the one me and Brad were in earlier. We walked over to a station where I saw a gentleman who was substantially lighter and leaner than Gui, but he had curlier hair than him and the most gorgeous blue eyes I’ve ever seen on a man. “Hey mom, Aunt Jocelyn and everybody. He smiled at us, His smile reminded me of Chris’ big and beautiful. He greeted everyone practically the same way Gui did, but he stared at me for a little while. “Who is this?” his voice softened instantly. “This is Terrance, Chris’ girlfriend.” “Really?” he walked over to me. “It’s nice to meet you sweetie I’m Aaron, Chris’ cousin.” “You’re prettier than what I’ve been told about you.” He shook my hand slowly. I cleared my throat lightly. “Why thank you.” Aaron was still looking into my eyes then Charlene swatted Aaron’s hand away from mine and it broke his focus. “Um, yes let’s go into my office guys.” I snickered under my breath and in my peripheral of my vision Charlene was giving me a death stare. I thought it was funny and didn’t know what her problem was so I gave one right back and walked into the office. “Sit down ladies and Brad we’ll speak shortly.” Jocelyn went to sit down first and when I went to go sit down next to her when suddenly Charlene cuts in front of me sis down next to Jocelyn. I was sick of the childish shit she was pulling, she is too damn grown for that crap, but I said nothing and sat next to Lindsey and Brad sat at the other end where I was. He must’ve not wanted to be next to me after what happened between us. I couldn’t blame him, he slept with his younger brother’s girlfriend while he was comatose and that’s not something you just ‘get over’. Gui and Aaron sat opposite of us and I just wanted to hear any news about my child and get it over with then Gui spoke. “So as you all know Jaslene was spotted here in Virginia Beach and the baby is still alive, but we don’t know how long that will be a reality. Our best, well second best to us officers are on patrol right now and are covering the entire town within one hundred mile radius; she’s not escaping without handcuffs and a trip to central booking.” “If you find her, but not the baby please don’t shoot her. We need to know her location so we can find her safely.” I interposed. “Of course, unless she’s crazy enough to try and have a shootout with police then we’ll have no choice then.” I nodded.

“So have any other tips other than the one you have received came in.” Jocelyn added. “No Aunty, at least not to my knowledge. We’re doing everything we can to find your granddaughter safely and bring her to you, until then please work with us we have better methods to finding out where her and the baby is. I and Gui will personally look into this case and we won’t stop until that baby is back home safely with you guys.” “Thank you so much for helping us, we just want her back and for Chris to be okay.” Lindsey said. Everyone got up from their seats and we all hugged each other and left the room. Aaron and I were the last to leave and I pulled him to the side so I could tell him about Trey. “I just wanted to tell you thank you for everything and second of all I know who shot Chris and who is in collusion with Jaslene.” “Who shot him?” “Tremaine Neverson shot Chris and is involved with Jaslene in kidnapping the baby. If you find him, most likely you’ll find Jaslene and my baby girl.” I chastened my eyes. “Please promise me you’ll find her.” He looked away slightly then I turned his head to face me. “Promise me!” I exclaimed quietly, but firmly. “I promise Terrance, I’ll bring her back to you.” He nodded as he spoke, I gave him a hug. “Thank you; call me if you find out anything.” I handed him my number walked away and went outside to the car. “Where were you?” Charlene asked. “The bathroom, is that a problem?” I shot back. “Let’s go home; It’s been a tiring day for all of us.” I requested. “Sure honey, let’s go home.” Jocelyn agreed. We all got into the car and drove home, it was around eight thirty pm. We all arrived at the house and we all got out of the car and entered the house. I sat down on the couch curled up with my knees to my chest silently praying that this could all be over. Jocelyn walked over to where I was and sat next to me. “Are you alright honey?” I looked at her and nodded. “Let’s go talk somewhere in private for a minute.” “Ok.” I got up from my seat and we went to the back of the house. “You’ve been sleeping with Bradford haven’t you?” I was frozen by how direct Jocelyn began the conversation. “Um… I-I” I stuttered. “I can tell, I’ve seen the way you glowed today. You usually do when you’re pregnant or had relations with Chris and since Chris is in a coma I assumed it was Brad and you two were alone at home today.” I gulped hard. “I-I didn’t mean to, I was-” She put her hand on my shoulder. “It’s alright sweetheart, we all make mistakes. Especially when we’re vulnerable as you are now, you found comfort in my son but you both went too far. I just hope this isn’t a repetitive mistake, is it?” “No ma’am, it isn’t. I was just a one-time mistake.”

“Good, are you going to tell my son when he has recovered?” “To be honest, I don’t know.” I put my head down. She placed her hand under my chin and lifted it up. “Look, I know you two have had problems from his past and now with your child and another problem with this affair, if this was a subconscious ploy for revenge you got it. Now clear Brad and yours conscious and tell Chris the truth and let him know what went on between you two, he might get mad but he loves you and him too much to let this destroy his relationship. He deserves at least that much.” “Thank you for not judging me Miss Jocelyn.” “No problem, I know where stress and a harsh reality can take you. Just have self-control and you’ll be alright.” She walked back into the kitchen and started preparing dinner. “I’ll make some food for you guys, just relax everyone.” I entered the kitchen and smiled at her. “May I at least watch you cook, I never learned how since what happened to my mother.” She smiled back. “Of course hun, come here.” I stood next to her on the stove. “Wash your hands first darling.” “Oh.” I washed my hands and went back to where Jocelyn was. She started explaining how to properly clean and season the chicken and taught me how to make Chris’ favorite dishes. I could tell Jocelyn was enjoying our time together, I was too then the phone rang. I was giggling from her jokes as I picked up the phone. “Hello?” “Hello this is Virginia Medical Center, Is this the spouse or family member of Chris Brown?” “Yes this is his girlfriend.” “Well we are pleased to tell you that your boyfriend has woken up from his coma about ten minutes ago.” “WHAT?! OH MY GOD!” I shouted out. “Wha-When, who saw him?” I stammered. “A nurse did, during her rounds she just saw him just sitting up and looking around the room, the doctor examined him and for the most part he’s alright.” “What do you mean by for the most part?” “What’s wrong Terrance?” Jocelyn and the family walked in. “Well it seems as if he suffered some substantial amount of amnesia from his coma, he can’t even remember his own name or why he’s here let alone any of you or his family’s. He might regain it all, some or it might be permanent it’s not certain at this point.” “Can we see him?” “Of course, but not all at once so he doesn’t become overwhelmed.”  “Of course, of course. We’re coming right now, thank you.” I hung up the phone. “Chris has woken up from his coma and we have to go see him now…” I grabbed my jacket preparing to leave. “Well is he okay?” Brad asked.

“He has memory loss; he can’t remember a thing so we all have to go see him now to help him remember us.” Everyone scrambled to get their things then we all ran outside to go to the hospital. Everyone was in the car until I noticed that Charlene wasn’t present. “Where’s Charlene?” I asked. “She told me she had to go the store real quick; I left her a note telling her where we’re at.” Brad answered. Brad raced to the hospital and when we arrived we bum rushed the front desk. “Excuse me?” I spoke out of breath. “May you tell us what room Chris Brown is in, we’re his family.” The nurse with a stern face fixed her glasses and then turned around to look him up in the system. “I’m sorry ma’am, but that patient was discharged… About twenty minutes ago.” Jocelyn walked up. “There’s gotta be some mistake; we just received a call saying that he’s still here and wake please check again.” “Ok then.” She typed his name in again. “Still says he’s been discharged ma’am.” “Well who the hell discharged him that damn quickly, aren’t you supposed to keep him overnight for observation or something?” Lindsey said becoming angry. “That’s a suggestion, no one really enforces it. You watch too much Grey’s Anatomy.” “Wha? Did she just? Aw hell naw, she done tried me.” Brad grabbed Lindsey trying to hold her back. “Let’s go for a walk, girl quit fighting me and let’s go outside.” He struggled to speak trying to hoist her away.” “Lindsey behave please, now is not the time.” Jocelyn fired at her. “Well who discharged him ma’am?” She asked. “Let me check.” She sighed as she got up and looked at the visitors list and nodded. “A miss Robyn Finley signed out for him, Such a nice girl.” She smiled. “What?” One of my eyebrows was raised. “That’s impossible, I blacklisted her from having contact with him while he’s here.” “Well I didn’t see her name on that list when I looked him up and don’t know why you would unless you were jealous.” I instantly became pissed at this woman’s words and got in her face fast. “Excuse me? You listen here ma’am, I am not jealous of her and he left her ass for a reason.” She looked at me up and down. “Last time I checked he didn’t leave her at all he fucked up and they couldn’t be with each other, Looks like he wants her back now. She smirked Evilly. “Jocelyn grabbed my arm. “Terrance let’s go, let’s GO.” She pulled me out the building. I wanted to bash her big ass head into the desk so badly, the utter complete nerve of that creature.” I stormed to the car fuming in anger.

“What happened Terrance?” Lindsey questioned. “You wouldn’t believe who discharged Chris in that hospital.” “Who?” Brad asked. “Robyn.” Lindsey became angry. “What the fuck?” “Language Lindsey.” Jocelyn cut in.  “I thought we blacklisted that bitch!” “Language Lindsey Marie Brown!” Jocelyn shot at her. “I’m sorry, but who would take her off the list to begin with?” I stopped my forethought and looked at Brad. “Where did Charlene said she went to again Brad?” “Sh-She said she was going to the store.” “The store at this hour, where we live?” Lindsey interrogated. “I hope aunty wasn’t that foolish to let that girl see him.” Lindsey sighed and hit her head against the window softly. “Does she really hate you that much?” She turned her head to me. “I don’t even know what’s her problem is, she’s been aiming at my head ever since we met. I know the whole fact of me being pregnant before we became married made her uneasy about me, but I’ve done nothing wrong to that woman at least not to the extent of letting Robyn take him away like this.” Lindsey sighed. “All we can do now is go home and confront her; technically Robyn didn’t force him to leave so we can’t say she kidnapped him to the police. Lord knows where she’s at with him right now.” We all got into the car and drove home in silence. We saw Charlene’s car was the first thing I saw and my blood began boiling over rapidly, I seriously wanted to kick her fucking ass and didn’t give a fuck who witnesses or any consequences that would result afterwards. I wanted to see her or Robyn’s blood on the floor by my own hands. We all got out the car and I speedwalked to the point I kicked open the door. “Terrance!” Lindsey shouted running after me. I saw Charlene walked out of the kitchen with fire in my eyes. “You think you were slick with that shit huh?” I got in her face clenching my fists hard. “What are you talking about and you need to get out my face little girl.” I stepped even closer to her face. “How could you let Robyn take Chris away like that? Especially after what she had done to him, you don’t like me that much to him through pain like that?” “What pain? She didn’t force him to leave; he chose to leave with her.” “With fucking amnesia?! She could tell him that she was fucking god and that he should walk around with a fish on his fucking head to please her! You can’t be serious?!” I pushed her back then she pushed me back and Lindsey grabbed my arm. “It’s not like you even truly loved him anyways!” “What the hell do you mean by that?”

“I saw how you were flirting with my son in that police station, you may have leeched off my nephew, but I’ll be damned in the depths of hell of you ever do it to my son; I wouldn’t be surprised if you’ve already slept with Bradford!” Brad’s eyes became really wide. “Leeched? LEECHED!? You have no damn idea what your nephew has put me through! Any lessor female would’ve left way before I was even pregnant with his child; I almost lost my mind staying with him out of LOVE! How dare you undermine my relationship with him? I have not done one damn thing in order to deserve this treatment from you!” “I swear if you let her keep him from his child I will destroy both you and that whore’s life I’m a woman of my fucking word believe that!” I released myself from Lindsey’s grip and began to walk out of the house and Chris’ Lamborghini. “Terrance, where are you going?!” Lindsey shouted. “I’m leaving! If this is how my life is going to be then I might as well find my baby and raise her my damn self, I do not deserve this bullshit especially from a so-called woman who doesn’t know shit about me!” “Don’t run away Terrance, Chris needs you, my mother needs you, we all need you.” “Chris has Robyn now, remember?” “I know Charlene was wrong for doing that shit, I’m pissed off she’s getting away with that shit, but I know you’re gonna try to find her ass.” I looked at her. “You better let me go with you; I want her head on a silver plate on the thanksgiving table as much as you do.” “Damn straight I do, he needs to be back home with us.” Lindsey nodded “The selfish bitch is keeping him away from you and his family and you know I don’t play that shit, so let’s go.” I nodded and Lindsey sat in the passenger seat. “So where are we going first?” Lindsey asked. “The airport, she’s gonna try to leave the state with him. I’m pretty sure of it.” “So let’s go get our boy back home.” I drove out of the drive way and headed straight for the interstate heading for the airport to try and save Chris. I tried not to let all of this bullshit, but it just hurts too much I wish I could wake up from this dream. Unfortunately This is my reality and I just don’t know where this road in my life will lead, but all I want was for all of this to be over. I just wanted my child and Chris back. Then my cellphone rang and it kept ringing. “Lindsey, please check who is that calling me?” Lindsey took out the phone and looked at it. “It’s Aaron, Terry.

Chapter 22: Her Fate/Her Last Testament

[Jaslene’s POV]
I hear police sirens all around outside; they must really wanna take me out huh? Well they aren’t gonna find that damn baby if they kill me, I don’t know who tipped them off. If Trey did his ass is dead, I’m better off working alone anyways. Trey crept into the warehouse slowly trying to be discreet, but the door slammed hard behind him startling my already paranoid ass. “Dammit Trey! Stop slamming shit; do you want the police to find us here? “My bad Jaslene baby, I’ll be more careful next time.” I turned my head to look at him. “Why did it take you so long to get here anyways?” I asked suspiciously. “Cops were circling the block, I’m pretty sure the cops are looking for me too. Couldn’t risk us getting caught out here, how the hell are we gonna leave the state Jas?” He asked. “We’re not.” I responded. “Well what are gonna do then?” He asked. I cocked my gun. “If they take us down, that baby’s going with us.” Trey’s eyes widened and his hands went up. “Whoa, whoa, whoa Jaslene. Are you really gonna kill that baby?” “Yea, this is payback for my sister and my dead nephew/niece.” “C’mon Jas, I know Chris has done you and Cat was fucked up, but killing his kid isn’t gonna bring Catalina and the baby back. Why don’t we drop the kid off somewhere and split?” I put down the gun and looked at him. “Y’know what? You’re right, let’s hurt them like that. Think their child has died when she’s really someone else’s problem, but where are we gonna drop her off at?” “I’ll pick a random house in D.C. nobody but Julissa knows I’m down with you yet so lemme do it.” I nodded. “Ok, we’ll do it together tonight. I’m sick of looking after the little bastard.” We waited at the warehouse till nightfall; it was starting to get cold and I was getting ready to drop off the kid, but Trey was nowhere to be found. I didn’t have time to worry about his ass so I kept packing up, after I dropped off the kid I was gonna flee town. Maybe I’ll even leave the country; I’ll Probably go back to Colombia and be a doctor there. I Just Wanted To Leave this hellhole and take her with me, but I can’t. She’s gone and It is his entire fault, my blood began to boil again till I heard the little baby girl cooing. I walked over to the newborn and saw her yawning while looking up at me; how did I end up like this? Is this how my life was going to end up?

Kidnapping an innocent child and letting all my anger towards Chris cloud my better judgment? This was not how I was raised and this was not who I am, but it’s too late. If I bring her back I’ll end up in jail and if Chris is still alive he’ll tell the police that I shot him and I’ll end up even more under the jail. I just had to drop off the kid at a random person’s house far from VA beach and go far, far away forever. I got back to packing up more of my things then my cellphone began to ring, I picked up the phone. “Oh my daughter Jaslene…” “Mother?” I replied. “Si, I see you all over the news. Why did you take that woman’s baby Jaslene?”  I froze up on the phone. “That woman is the reason why Catalina died, she stole Chris from her and now she’s dead because Catalina couldn’t handle it and now her and her unborn child is dead. He must’ve made her have an abortion like he did to me!” “So that’s it? Revenge is what you’re after? You’ve lost your career, your sister, your good reputation and even your freedom all so you can get back at a man who never forced you to do anything?”  “Were you not listening to me mom?! He made her and me!” “Yes, made not forced. He didn’t tell you to have sex without protection or that he really wanted to spend his life with you. I understand you’re mad because your sister is gone and the man that betrayed you and her has found happiness with another woman, but at the end of the day that baby has done nothing to deserve to be taken away from her family. Just please give her back niña and face your consequences’ for the road you have chosen the same way your sister has, I will always love you Jaslene but I will not accept or support the life of crime you’ve chosen because of your anger towards one man. I did not raise you to be that way and I neither raised Catalina the way she had become, I partly blame myself for not teaching you both about different types of men out there and how to know when their love is real or not. I have to go now, please be safe the policia are all over in Virginia. I love you.”  “I love you too mom.” I said with tears falling from my face silently. I hung up the phone and sat on the cold steel chair next to the baby. How could it have get to this point?

The fact my mother blames herself for all that Catalina & I have done made my tears fall even harder. All this desire of revenge towards Chris has clouded my better judgment and made me break the law and do things I would never dream of ever in my life. The cold wind began to pick up speed and I bundled up the infant even more so she didn’t catch a cold then I looked over her cooing. She looked just like Chris and she had her mother’s soul piercing blight brown eyes. I’m kind of relieved Trey told me to let her live, cause nothing that I could’ve done to this baby would’ve brought back my sister or her unborn baby. I picked up my cellphone and tried to call Trey on his cellphone. When I called, it first went straight to voicemail then when I called again he picked it up quickly. “H-hello, Jaslene?” “Yeah Trey, It’s me.” I responded. “You ready?” he spoke blandly. “Yea I am, where are we gonna meet up?” I asked. “Over by Lesner Bridge, right now with the kid then we’ll drive off from there.” “Alri-” Trey hung up before I could get my words out. I shrugged my shoulders and got all of my things and the baby together. I got into my car and started driving to the bridge; I saw trey in the middle standing there nervously. I took the baby from the backseat and headed towards him as the wind chill rose from the quickly approaching night. “So are we ready to go?” I asked while securing the blanket over the basket. “I-Is the baby in there?” He asked with a little nervousness. “Yea, she’s asleep. What’s your problem?” I looked at him awkwardly. “What do you mean?” He questioned back. “You’re acting really nervous, like you’re waiting on something.” He just shook his head and forcefully smiled. “Naw, It’s just really cold out here.” “Are you sure?” I continued to question him. “Yeah, let’s go.” I quickly looked around because I noticed there were no cars to be found on either side of the bridge and I became alarmingly suspicious. So I started to pat down Trey quickly. “What the fu-? What the fuck are you doing Jas?” “See the thing is Trey, I don’t fucking trust you and if you brought the fucking cops here you’re a dead fucking man! And so is that fucking baby!”

I turned him over and patted him down and checked to see if he was wearing a wire, I felt nothing but anguish from my sudden burst of paranoia. “What the hell Jaslene?! I told you I wasn’t wired, you got me trippin over here.” “Sorry, I’ve been really paranoid lately. I didn’t mean to accuse you of anything.” “It’s cool, so where’s the baby?” he asked again. “I said in the car.” So we walked over to the car and the moment right after I took the carseat out then all I saw and heard were police sirens surrounding the whole bridge, I quickly pulled out my gun & pointed it at Trey. “VOCÊ CARALHO TRAIDOR!” “You fucking snake! How could you do me like that you piece of SHIT?!” “Jaslene, baby I-” We both turned around to see that useless whore Terrance runs out her car and tries to intervene, but the police tried to hold her back. “GIVE ME BACK MY BABY YOU BITCH, GIVE ME BACK MY LITTLE GIRL!” She screamed out hysterically and then the baby started crying loudly. “Jaslene Rosas, put down the infant and put your hands up in the air.” The police officer said on a megaphone. I backed up slowly against the bridge wall and I sucked in my breath & pointed my gun at Trey with a hard stare. “How long have you been against me Trey?” “Jaslene I-” “HOW FUCKING LONG TREY?” “The cops found me while I was out and they cut me a deal iight, I didn’t wanna go to jail. This shit got too deep too fucking fast Jaslene, you knew the risks and now you fucked up and now my best friend is laid up in the hospital cause of your jealousy.” “I am NOT jealous! That asshole Chris killed my unborn child and now my sister and her unborn baby, and they would’ve had their baby if it wasn’t for that-that WHORE over there. She doesn’t deserve to have this baby.” Then Trey tried to step closer and I backed up tightening the grip of my gun. “Stay back!” He put both his hands up. “Whoa, Whoa Jas… Don’t do anything crazy, just calm down. We can talk about this.” “Talk about this? Talk about this?! TALK ABOUT WHAT?!! WHAT TREY, WHAT? How my life is ruined? How my sister is dead and my family disowns me?

How now all these damn cops are here pointing all their guns at me because YOU brought them here? Okay motherfucker let’s talk.” “IF YOU HURT MY BABY JASLENE YOU’RE DEAD, YOU HEAR ME?! I’LL END YOUR PATHETIC, MISERABLE ASS LIFE!!!!” I heard Terrance belt out again. “YOU AND THIS BASTARD CHILD NEED TO SHUT THE FUCK UP!” I yelled out waving my gun around, I suddenly felt a rush tears stream down my face. “I can’t take this bullshit any damn more, I’m not going to jail and if I can’t have my baby, neither will you!” I threw the baby seat over the bridge and heard the baby crying and Terrance’s horrified scream. “NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, MY BABY!” She cried out while collapsing on the street pavement. Trey ran towards me and I shot him in the chest and he fell to the ground almost instantly. Then I pointed the gun to my temple & police tried to run up to stop and arrest me, but with my last sorrowful tear I whispered Catalina’s name and pulled the trigger and fell back over the bridge. As my lifeless body plunged down off the bridge my whole life flashed before my eyes. My childhood with Catalina, us in school, how I stood there and watch our father kick her out the house for being pregnant at the age of 15. How our relationship faltered after I graduated high school and college, How I and Chris met and when we dated… This was still all his fault; he cheated me out of a child, a happy life, a relationship with my sister and he cheated her out her child and a better life. I hope that whore Terrance and that bastard Chris suffers the same fate as we with him ruining us and now he’ll never hurt me or Cat ever again…

[Julissa’s POV]
I picked up my phone to call Aaron, Terrance & Trey didn’t know but Aaron was an ex of mine back when I went to VCU for a few semesters. I waited for him to answer; I was growing anxious as I was driving to the docks. “C’mon, c’mon… Pick up dammit.” Just as soon as the phone I heard his sleepy baritone breathe into the phone, “H-Hello?” he spoke half conscience. “OH MY GOD! AARON, THANK GOD YOU PICKED UP!” “Whoa, whoa, whoa, lower ya voice Julissa, Wit yo loud ass It’s one thirty in the morning.” He spoke in his southern drawl while slowly waking up. “I’m sorry Aaron, but I really need your help right now.” “What happened?” His voice continued being more concerned. I sighed as I replied to him. “Jaslene called me.”  “WHAT?!” Aaron’s voice shot up which made me jump. “Where are you or where are you going?” He continued. “I can’t tell you, I’m not even supposed to call you… she said if I called anybody the baby dies.” I spoke with fear. “That crazy broad ain’t gonna do shit, now tell me where you are.” He spoke trying to reassure me. “I’m driving to docks in Virginia Beach.” “It’s probably a fucking trap Julissa, let me drive over there and I coul-”“NO!” I cut him off. “She’ll kill Terrance’s baby if she sees you, she got-” I froze. “She got what Ju?” I remained silent. “She. got. what. Julissa?” He broke up the sentence with a heightened tone level. “S-she got Trey with her…” I replied sheepishly. “Trey?! Trey who?” He fired back. “Tremaine, Tremaine.” “WHAT?! I always knew that fuck nigga was always jealous of Chris, but for that nigga to work with that crazy hoe trying to hurt his baby?! That nigga has gone too far, I’m coming for real now…” “No, Aaron you can’t!” I exclaimed. “You know I just can’t let you do that.” “Then why did you call me Julissa?” I paused and then he continued. “You obviously wanted me to help somehow or you wouldn’t even bother to call me.” I took a sharp breath then replied. “Look I was in fucking panic mode and you were the first person I saw in my contacts, alright?!” “Whatever Jul, Imma Go Out There Whether You Like It Or Not.” “Stay. Out. Of. It. I’m warning you Aaron, I can handle this on my own I’ll be carefu-”

“I don’t give a shit what you say; I’m going over there too so get the fuck over it.” His southern drawl hummed hard in my ear, I sighed in surrender. He was as hardheaded as Chris and just as quick tempered… and stupid. “Whatever Aaron.” I said in an even tone. “Do what you want; I don’t want that little girl hurt and you better pray to god she isn’t.” I hung up the phone. My mind races as I get closer and closer to my destination. I wondered if Aaron was really going to go over there, what if the baby gets hurt, Even worse what if the baby was already dead and this really was a trap. My mind continues to race and my brow started to sweat from all my thoughts running rampant. I arrived at the docks and I took a deep, but fearful breath as I turned off the engine and step out of the car. I took another deep breath and walked around to see where Jaslene & Tremaine were. The sound of ships pull in and pulling out of the harbor along with the sudden fog that filled the night air made it feel eerie and I felt even more uneasy, then I felt ice cold steel against the back of my temple. “Don’t you fucking move, I’ll kill you right where you stand if I have to.” I heard a deep, harsh tone of a woman. My hands slowly moved up as she rapidly searched through my body. “Did anyone follow you?” she spoke as she continued to pat down the lower half of my body. “No, I came alone.” I said with my hands still in the air. “Don’t you lie to me Julissa or I swear I’ll have Trey kill the damn baby & I will kill you.” She found my cellphone and chucked it into the ocean, then forced me to turn around and I was staring straight down the barrel of her 9 millimeter pistol in point blank range of my face. “I wasn’t followed, I swear.” I spoke as I shook my head and there was Jaslene, tired and frustrated but full of blind rage that was all too visible in her voice and her words let alone her face. “Did you call la policia?” she questioned even more. “No I didn’t, you know I wouldn’t Jaslene.” I said looking directly in her enraged face. “Good, just because you’re my cousin doesn’t mean I won’t kill you. I know how close you are to that man stealing bitch.” I nodded. “She’s really not that bad, her meeting and being with Chris is all a huge ass coincidence and she left him soon after she found out about Jaslene.

Chris is a manipulative asshole and he deserved what he got, but this is Terrance’s baby too and can’t let you hurt her.” “So you think it’s not her fault.” She questioned with a puzzled face. “No, she’s not that type of person, I just give me the baby and I will tell no one about where you are but Trey has to go down for all of this.” I looked at her with a straight face. “What do you mean?” Jas looked at me with a concerned face. “We have to have someone to take the fall for all of this. If the police catch you, you’re going to jail for a long time and I’m not having my familia locked under the jail over no bullshit!” “If you put this all on Trey you probably get a two year bid tops or even just probation for a few years.” “I’m going to lose my career and my license, what the hell am I going to do after all that shit Julissa?!” she beamed at me. “We’ll cross that bridge when we get there, now we have to come up with a plausible reason for Trey to be the mastermind behind all of this and emotionally manipulate you because of what happened to your sister.” “How?” she asked. “Trey has always been fiercely jealous of Chris and everything he has and how he always came out clean regardless of the shit he puts himself in and that is not a lie.” “How do you know all this?” she looked puzzled. I gulped hard at me not trying to reveal to her I was raped by Trey at our hotel room. “He told me that when I caught y’all on the phone.” Jaslene looked at me very puzzled, but shocked. “Wait. That was you on the phone?” “I-I-I swear I didn’t know Julissa I-” “Don’t sweat it.” I cut her off while avoiding eye contact. “Why aren’t you looking at me Juil?” she looked at me while I remained avoiding eye contact. “N-nothing, let’s just get our stories straight for the police.” I attempted to change the subject. “What did Trey do to you?” Jaslene asked trying to press the issue. “So here’s what’s we’re going to tell them, Trey organized ever-” “Julissa! What. Did. Trey. Do. To You?” She asked again. “He did nothing to me Jas, nothing.” I spoke with my voice trembling. She turned me over and looked at my face hard. “Did he hit you?” Her eyes became squinted. “No, I-I don’t wanna talk about it.” She grabbed under my chin and forced me to look dead at her face.

“What did that puto do to you?” She grew angry at me dodging every question she asks me about Trey. “H-He…”As Soon as I tried to tell her what happened we both heard a loud BANG! Jaslene grabbed my hair brutally & pointed a gun at my temple. “I thought I told you to come ALONE!” “I did! I swear to god I didn’t” I spoke in total horror. “If I find somebody here you’re dead you hear me!” I gipped on my hair tighter. “WHO’S IN HERE?” She walked around franticly pointing her gun in all different directions. I heard my hair follicles slowly ripping out of my head, the pain from her vice grip on my hair kept me from thinking straight. I kept on being dragged hard by Jaslene and I could barely keep up, then she pulled my head back with extreme force and placed the ice cold steel on the gun’s barrel underneath my upper throat with soulless eyes. “If I find anyone in this warehouse, I will kill you and that prositituta suja’s baby.” I practically trembled in complete fear of me and Terry’s baby possibly dying because of her paranoia or because of Aaron’s stupidity of following me here. “There’s no one here Jaslene, you’re losing your mind! Just give the baby back and this’ll all be over gotdammit!” I pleaded. Then she took my head and slammed it hard against a wooden box. I was in complete pain and fighting unconsciousness hard, but I knew if I would’ve Screamed Me and that little girl would’ve died. “You will not tell me what to do ever again bitch!” she barked mercilessly at me. Then pistol whipped me and kept dragging me along by my hair, I thought all my hair would’ve been ripped out by the roots by now. Then suddenly I heard a snap and Jaslene’s grip on my hair loosened dramatically and I fell to the floor, I looked up to see Aaron slightly hovering over me. “Are you okay Juil?” He asked. He helped me up and then I see Jaslene trying to come at Aaron from behind. “AARON, LOOK OUT!” I belted. Jaslene swiftly started choking Aaron with her belt. I felt utterly helpless seeing Aaron struggling to break free from Jaslene suffocating him. “Julisss-a… r-r-run!” I fought hard to speak out. I ran off, but I tuned around out of sight looking for something to help Aaron and then I saw a two by four and slammed it hard against Jaslene’s back.

She screamed out in pain and me and Aaron ran quickly grabbed me and ran to the door trying to escape and suddenly all I heard was a loud bang! I looked over at Aaron and saw him sliding down to the floor by the exit door. “NOOOOOOOOOOOO!” I screamed in complete disbelief and horror. “Oh God, Jaslene WHAT DID YOU DO?!” I was crying over his body. Then Jaslene walked over towards me then pistol whipped me so hard I passed out and everything went black, When I came to everything was pitch black and I couldn’t move more than an inch from all sides of my body and all I heard was a cellphone excessively vibrating and I picked it up with my hands violently shaking. “H-hello?” “Hello you backstabbing bitch!” I heard Jaslene venomously shot at me. “Where the hell am I? What the hell did yo do to Aaron and the baby, I swear to GOD if that baby is hurt I’ll-” “Please motherfucker, you are in absolutely no condition to make any threats to me, besides your lil cop buddy… he’s already dead, I made sure of that and the baby is fine… for now.” I slightly started to cry when she told me Aaron died, but was relieved the baby was ok. “As for you I’d be a little more focused on where you’re at right now because time is truly of the essence and you don’t have much to spare.” She chuckled mischievously. “You see, I’ve buried you alive under 8 feet of dirt in some random Virginia backwoods while you were knocked out. To be honest I can’t even pinpoint your exact location even if I wanted to. Trey doesn’t know about you or your cop friend Aaron or of what we discussed. So as far as he is concerned, you’re already back home in New York City still angry that he raped you.” She sarcastically sighed. “Poor little old you huh?” she laughed condescendingly at me. “You’re not going to get away with this Julissa; every fucking cop in the state is looking for you and that bastard Trey! They all know your face and what you’ve done, you haven’t won shit and that baby will be back with Chris and Terrance while you’re rotting in hell!” I fired back. “Well I would conserve that little ass amount of oxygen you have there for someone who gives a shit! I’m leaving the damn country and I have no need for this fucking little bastard so it will be disposed of before I do! Good luck with knowing that you’re gonna die for choosing that man stealing dyke of your own familia you cunt!”

With that she hung up the phone on me. I tried with all my might to push through my “coffin” but the dirt above me didn’t budge. Then I grabbed the phone and it only had two service bars. I dialed the only number I could remember by heart… Terrance’s. I dialed her cell number hit “send” I prayed so hard that she’d pick up but all I heard was a voicemail greeting. “Hey you reached Terrance, I can’t get to the phone right now so leave me a short message and I’ll call you back when I can. Thank you.” I drew in a very deep breath then I spoke.  “Terrance, It’s me Julissa. I don’t have much time left so I’ll tell it to you straight. Jaslene is my blood cousin and I never told you this because with all the craziness with you, Chris, the baby and all. I didn’t want you to think I was with her cause I’m not at all, I tried to get her to bring the baby back, but it didn’t work. Also… Aaron is dead.” I began to cry as I continued to speak. “He’s dead cause of me; he tried to save mine and the baby’s life. I wish I could bring your little girl back to you, but I can’t and now she’s in great danger because of it. She completely lost her mind and no one is safe. If I do die before anyone finds me. I just wanted to say I love you and I always will no matter wh-” Message limit is full. I was balling hysterically after the call cut off. I knew I wasn’t going to live after this, I knew I would die and that the baby would eventually be dead too and that Jaslene has no loyalty to anyone anymore ever since Cat died. I felt that all I can do was pray and pray hard. I grabbed my rosemary beads my grandmother gave me; I closed my eyes and prayed. “Heavenly father, if it is in your will for me to die I will humbly and gracefully embrace it. But if I am to live please have someone find me and rescue me from this peril and protect Terrance and Chris and their newborn child. That little girl deserves every chance to live and happy, loving and peaceful life and I will give you my soul and spirit to you completely if she survives. As long as she is alive may she bring joy and tranquility to all who love her. Please lord, I’m begging You…” A warm tear streamed down my nearly frozen face. “Please protect her and keep her safe, she’s all that Chris and Terrance got  in their lives that made them truly happy. Please.” I wiped my consistently falling tears. “In Jesus name I pray, amen.” I lied there looking at the nearly battery depleted phone to try and call 911, but I had no service anymore and even if I did, it was close to impossible to locate me so I can be saved. I just lied there still in utter defeat.
